Crafted joinery for a prestigious North East hotel refurbishment
We’re delighted to share that the Abbey Group has been commissioned to deliver a bespoke joinery package as part of the latest redevelopment works at Ramside Hall Hotel & Spa. A well-known luxury destination near Durham, Ramside Hall is currently undergoing a series of upgrades across its facilities — and we’re proud to be contributing to this exciting transformation.
Tailored Joinery for a Prestigious Setting
Working closely with the design team, we’re manufacturing a range of made-to-measure fitted joinery items that will be installed across key guest and retail areas within the hotel. Each piece has been thoughtfully designed to complement the venue’s elegant interiors while meeting the functional demands of a busy hospitality setting.
Our package includes:
- A bespoke reception desk, designed to provide a warm and professional welcome to guests
- A shoe display unit with adaptable shelving and integrated lighting for clean presentation
- A clothing display unit tailored to suit high-end garment displays
- A series of miscellaneous shelving units, offering flexible storage with a premium finish
All elements are being hand-built by our skilled craftsmen here in the UK, with close attention paid to materials, detailing and finish. This is a great example of how we tailor our fitted joinery solutions to both brand identity and practical needs.
A Project in Progress
The Ramside Hall joinery package is currently in production, with installation scheduled for the coming weeks. We’re looking forward to seeing everything come together on site — and even more excited to share the finished result once the project is complete.
Looking Ahead
Once the work is complete, we’ll be publishing a full case study showcasing the finished joinery in situ. This will include final imagery, design details, and a closer look at how our solutions were implemented to elevate the space.
